Please can someone help me as im close to breaking point.
Iv recently bought 2gig of OCZ Reaper ram and a P5k Deluxe wifi motherboard.
It runs okish with no bios twiddling, but when i try tinker with the settings and reboot it will crash just before the windows login screen appears.
Iv been trying to follow this overclocking guide http://forums.*****.net/showthread.php?t=110267 but it will never fully boot to windows after changing the settings
Just before it crashes the computer makes a little kind of squeeling noise - not sure which component it is but it could be either the psu,thermal heat sink or the HD.
Basically its running on deafult settings and i really want to get it running at 1066fsb as it is capable of doing so.
Even when i try adjust the ram settings it crashes.
My cpu is a Hiper 580Watts
Iv only got a budget GFX card at the mo so it wont be that and the BIOS version im using is 0404.
Ideas anybody ????
