P5K-E won't boot without graphics card?

Trying to make a small server with no graphics card but this mobo won't POST if there is no graphics card inserted?

Seems odd to me. I can't remember having a mobo do this in the past?

Did your previous mobo have onboard graphics? I wouldnt have thought it would work without a VGA card.

My P5K-E wont post without VGA either, my foxconn BLACKOPS would right enough

wouldn't the board "Halt" the boot process without any GPU installed? . . . I think it's possible to configure the BIOS so it will "ignore" missing VGA and keyboards etc and boot right up . . . of course you will need to install a graphics card temporarily so you can configure the BIOS but after that's done you can remove the card and you should be fine?
