Hi, I'm about to build by first system in the next few weeks. I like the Asus P5K Premuim/WiFi system board, but I'm not sure which memory to go for. Looking at the Asus Qualified Vendors List, there's not much choice. Is anyone able to give advice and confirm whether the following 4 GB kits work on this motherboard:

GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 800MHz Black Dragon DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GB24GB6400C5DC)

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Reaper HPC Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPR800C44GK)

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz ReaperX HPC Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPX800EB4GK)

Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Is it worth going for 8GB ?

I think 8gb of ram is overkill at the moment. I have the P5K Premium and I decided to get the Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x1gb for now, then if needed later on I could buy another 2x1gb. :)

I'm running The Geil Black Dragon 2x2GB on my P5KE-Wifi edition.
Runs well on stock volts and currently have them running at 900MHZ on stock volts too, can easily push them further i think.

no problems, there are also a few ppl here that have them running at 1000Mhz+ with reports of it being very stable even at these speeds. Also the LED dragon eyes look smart.

I have no experience of 8GB kits so can't comment, sorry.
But people here mention that it stresses the memory controller more?? i'm not even sure if i'm using the correct terminology here lol. How this will effect OC'ing, i have no idea.
4GB is fine for Vista 64bit though :)

What timings are you able to get with 4 x 1gb Ballistix on the Premium. Also, what voltages are you guys using ??
Thanks
