i got my P5kc just over 2 years ago, within a few months i started getting start up problems were the PC would power up (fans and HDD all fire up) but there is no life, no signal to the monitor and no activity from the system at all. - After several or so restarts it will eventually work, from then on i get no problems when its up and running.
I have tested and changed my gfx card, i have tested 4 lots of diffrent ram (incuding buying new) , i have updated the bios and i have tested a diffrent PSU. usually for about a week at a time.
still no success so this would leave it to be the motherboard.
also i currently have Kingston hyperX running at 800mhz... trying to run it at its capable 1066mhz is not promising as after the 'failed' power ups i usually get Overclocking failed.
Although i have had it running at that speed comfortably once and flawlessly on another PC.
I have only seen 1 maybe 2 people around the net with this problem (powering up) and no answers.
Any ideas?
