Ok, so recently the board won't allow me to run 2 sticks of 1GB OCZ Ram (memtest errors on stock settings) together in dual, but Memtest indicates both sticks have no errors when testing individual. I ran dual in the black slots for over a year now, but i've RMA'ed this board before with memory problems and alas it's happened again.

Basically, I don't want to have to keep RMA'ing this board because the memory slots are built below par.

So what motherboard do you guys think I should get?

I'm running an E4300@3GHz (so would like a nice oc'ing board if/when I get a new CPU), 2GB of OCZ RAM (DDR2 please), 9800GTX+ and a Corsair HX 620W. I may want to SLi in the future, so would like an SLI motherboard, but am open to Intel boards if you can convince me. :D

Obviously the cheaper the better, but I want quality this time round.

So, do you think I should just carry on using 1GB for now and wait for any new motherboards/CPU's?

Cheers lads, after what's been said here and doing my own research, i'm almost certain the P5Q Deluxe will be my next board. My problem wasn't ever really with Asus, just the cheaper versions. The "Deluxe" version with all it's praise on the net seems to be what i'm after.

Cheers WJA96, your advice has made me rethink my purchase.

I shall wait for new tech and stick with my P5N-E with 1GB. Only Crysis, Warhead and encoding really benefit from 2GB anyway.

Yes, it's on 1101 at the moment, the latter BIOS don't have any benefit for me.

I've always flashed the BIOS when i've had any problems, thanks for the concern.
