P5N-E SLI does it work with PCIE 2?

I have the above board, and can't really find any comfirmation one way or another, can anyone help?

It will have a PCI-E v1 or v1.1 slot but a v2 graphics card is supposed to be backwards compatible with those slots.

I had heard that PCIE 2.0 only works with 1.1 and doesn't work with 1.0 but I am not even sure which version my board has

Anyone know for sure?
