Fiddly if im honest, spend loads of time on it, dont give up

I have my q6600 at 425*8 @1.4 volts

Make sure ram is unlinked though

on my current motherboard i have it to 3.15GHz ram is at 700MHz and cpuZ says its a 1:1 ratio so im hoping i can use the same settings

Ive had mine up to 1700 FSB ( 425 ) but as said it takes a bit of time to fiddle with it to get it stable.

Just be sure to use the latest BIOS. I found that the biggest cause of instability is running the RAM unlinked, as i wanted to run it at its full 1066Mhz but this resulted in bluescreens and freezes, even with the correct voltage. But running it in Linked Sync mode its rock solid.

All voltages are on auto apart from CPU and memory.

are these overclocks on air?
just want to get the biggest overclock i can and by going by what you lot are getting it shouldnt be that hard.

Takes a lot of fiddling to get stable clocks over 1333 FSB (and usually requires a decent fan on the northbridge).

I've found the build quality on these boards to be pretty poor too - might have improved lately I dunno but around a year ago they were dropping like flies.

If you get a good one its very good but the chances of that are slim.
