does any one no if it will work

gavindo :)

I have the same motherboard . an in my book is say's it will not support the 820 only in singlecore mode., i would not risk anything above this model number..

the 830, and 840s are fine.
its just the 820s that suffer
i think a lot of nforce boards ahve this problem.
**i THINK** its somethign to dow with the multiplier being lower , and the board only recognises one core. im sure i read that somwhere

use the ASUS CPU support site. the P5ND2 - SLI wont support any of then newer 9XX series chips though !

http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

search using motherboard
socket 775
p5nd2-sli

list off all the CPUs it supports :)

No. but the Asus P5N32-SLI supports both Dual Core and EMT64. It may be more expensive but it has the Intel chipset and Nforce 4 SLI for the Southbridge. I shuld have received mine on Saturday but City-Link *****d up the delivery and OC never advised me until I asked them. Still hopefully I shold have it up and running tommorrow night. At present I am using the P5ND2 SLI and you need extra power to support Dual core CPU's which this doesn't have.
