P5Q Deluxe storage configuration Bios question

Just installed this mobo that I bought from MM. My question is this:

I reset everything to factory default and all works fine. However Im not used to Asus bios. There is a setting marked storage configuration. In that I see my Samsung SATA HDD is on "configure SATA [IDE]". The options are raid, IDE and AHCI.

Should my SATA be on IDE?

Secondly. When Windows 7 arrives this week and my nice new Intell SSD. Should I change that setting to AHCI?

Itll be fine on ide, i used this with a single hard drive, raid when i had a pair of raptors in raid0, not really sure what difference AHCI offers tbh.

When I install my SSD should I switch to AHCI?
