Hi all, got a bit of a problem with my P5Q Deluxe. It fired up fine last night. Now it won't start up at all. Just on switch and reset lights on the motherboard nothing else, no fans or beeps.
Psu is fine (brand new). Tried it in my other pc. Unplugged everything all cables memory graphics card. Taken battery out. reset cmos. Put new battery in. Not a thing. Any ideas.

If the mobo is fried does any one know where i might be able to get a lga 775 motherboard from.

When I had trouble with under volted ram causing instabilities on my system, which ultimately corrupted my bios, I swapped the bios chip (this board comes with two) which sorted it.

Worth a try swapping them.
 
would that stop everything powering up. only got the 2 lights on the mobo for on and reset switches. neither of them are responsive.

I used to get as far as the first bios screen, and that was it, total lock up.

Swap them out, what have you got to lose?
