P5Q-E wont display - help needed..!!

Bought a P5Q-E from the B-Grade section last week. Anyhow Ive finally got round to installing it tonight and Ive run into a problem in that it just wont boot..

Swapped my old board back in (P35) and everything boots fine. Then back to the P5Q-E in and it just wont display.

The fans spin up, mouse lights up, PLED lights up but there is no beep at all. Ive tried resetting the bios, re-seating the Graphics card but nothing.

Anybody any ideas or is it 'send it back time'?

Sounds like send-it-back time, you've obviously ruled out every other components so unless you've just done something completely daft it's obviously damaged.

Just check all the connections again (but if you've swapped it out then back in, I can't imagine it's a loose wire) - perhaps just check everything is in the right place, maybe you made an assumption based on your old board and it's not the same. Long shot, but it's worth checking.

Not forgotten the 4 pin? Tried with just one stick, sorted the voltage, then added the other(s)? Gfx card back not stuck on a capacitor? Not using an Intel cooler, and not properly clicked in one of the 4 feet?
