i wonder if one of you people could help me out with 2 questions i have.
im using the p5q pro, i currently have 2 chassis fans plugged into the chassis fan sockets on the board, there is one socket that ive not utilized and that is the pwr fan socket. looking in the manual they have the same 3pin layout as the chassis fans ( pwr, gnd and rotation )
question....would i be able to use this to power another 80mm asaka red led fan ?
my other question is regard to 6 ENGINE, from what ive read in the manual the programe is like an enery saving software that limits power usage when hardware is not in use.
question.....will this interfere with my overclock in the bois ? and would i have to enable the speedstep in the bois again to get the full potential as my multiplier is set to a constant 9.5?
many thanks

Q1, Will be fine to add another fan to the pwr header, although it doesnt support the qfan function.

Q2, If your going to overclock as normal in the bios, the 6engine wont work but you can still turn on speedstep/c1e once you have a stable overclock

ok this may sound like a daft question but, when i enable speedstap so my multiplier fluctuates for 6 - 9.5 am i likely to see my temps rise due to the voltage required to get my 4mhz overclock. for instance when my multi is at 6 my core speed obviously goes down so would my voltage then be too high ?

also

do i enable or disable c1e support ? ive read that some people get random freezes with this enabled, how true is this ?
