Hi all
Something weird is going on with my P5W DH. I have HIS x1950xt and sometimes when playing games my PC all of a sudded freezes, there's a messed up screen with coloured vertical lines and it doesn't respond to anything. When I power it down and try to switch it back on it doesn't work, all fans are spinning at max speed and nothing happens.
To try things out i decided to put the card in another pci xpress slot and it werked... but after some time same stuff happened again. I was totally confused thinking it might be my GFX card fault but i did another test yesterday. I took out the radeon X700 from my old machine and put it in the new rig. Ran that for an hour and the same happened again.
The craziest thing is that when i put the X700 back into my old PC it refused to POST as well, although it worked well without the card running on onboard gfx.
Has anyone come accross smth like this ? I tend to think it's the motherboard that's doing all this. My 250Gb WD HDD went off this weekend as well, I think it's all related doh
