Generally I am quite happy with my PC and how its performing the only thing I am struggling with is getting my RAM up to speed - can anyone help please . . .

Corsair XMS2 PC8500 @ 1066Mhz
My RAM is running @ 889Mhz and I would like to exploit the full 1066Mhz - I can see a setting for that speed in *** BIOS but whenever I try and set it there it wont boot and then the BIOS resets itself TOTALLY!!!
What else do I need to try to get it running at its maximum speed please.

PS - be gentle Overclocking is Alien to me - but I would really like to get this sorted.
