Normally i get a P60, like others from their employer, however i was made redundant in january and so havent recieved a P60....what am i ment to do, how do i get one as everywhere you go these days they want proof of earnings with your P60 (tax credits, mortgage, tax return etc.)

No, i was refused JSA however in the process of applying they took my P45 and when refusing to payt me anything they gave me one back....blank! Not recieved anythign since.

You won't get a P60 - you only get one if you're in employment at the end of the tax year.

Your P45 will have the equivalent details on (end of year figures), assuming:

You don't earn anything from January to end of March
Your P45 is for a job that you had the entire tax year, OR includes previous employment figures (ie. you handed in a P45 to your last job, who's figures are then carried forward)

HMRC should be able to provide you with an equivalent - contact your local tax office.

The figures will be on your final payslip at redundancy then. Failing that, ask your last employer to send you a statement of your earnings with them for the last tax year.

I had to contact my job in order to get a P60, however I've been waiting for my tax rebate for 13 weeks now so don't hold your breath even if you do get one!
