I have a mate at work that wants to buy a house in Spain. As I understand his tax record is a bit dicey with the odd gap here or there due to a stint living in Oz and the States (illegal I presume). Now, without giving me anything illegal to tell him, he was wondering of those firms you get on-line that do the P60's for you are any good? He is talking to some bank or building society for a mortgage loan and all he need is the P60's. Is there a way for him to get one?

I will mail this link to him now so you can stop bothering me to post here Ben :)

a P60 shows your end of years earning when you are in employment.

If he wasn't in employment at the end of the tax year, he wouldn't get one.
Simple?

Do send me the link please though, interested to see this site! Are you sure it's just like the taxback site, where the request them on your behalf from previous employers?

So as far as i can see - they'll print any payslip or P60 you want.

Which i'm guessing is highly immoral, if not highly illegal.

Especially illegal if you then try to claim credit from the information contained on them.
Incredibly illegal if you then try and claim tax back from the HMRC, though doubt it would work due to them requesting copies from employers.

Reading their FAQs is hillarious!

Even so - £35 for a printed P60???? I have thousands of blanks, i might start a competitor... only £25!

I agree with you tbh. It's immoral but I doubt that ever stopped him from doing something immoral anyway. I will pass on the message.
