P67 problems?

I've been hearing mixed reports over the issues that the latest P67 boards have been having. Like the Asus line having cold boot issues and theres a 6 page thread on the MSI website about issues on the GD65 board. Its kinda worrying as I've placed an order for a 2600K i7 and currently have no board to go with it.

Am I reading too much into this?
 
They are brand new boards, new stuff usually always has a flurry of bios updates.

Saying that I wouldn't get an ASUS p8p67 they seem to be by far the most niggly at the moment. Although im sure this will be fixed within the months end.
 
i was having the same thoughts but in the end i git he asus board and its working ok. But then i havent turned the maxhine back on since setting my ram to 1600 :p
 
lol exactly... when i get onto my one later it will be a cold boot and i know ill see a solid red light on the RAM led... if i don't ill make sure to post here... im expecting it now... pretty shoddy state of affairs as is.

Well mine booted first time, and it couldnt have been much colder, im freezing :p
