P67A-UD3-B3 : Overclock

Hiya,

Right haven't really overcloked anything since my q6600, here's the specs of my new rig:-

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz
2x XFX ATI Radeon 6950 2048MB
Corsair HX 850W
Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 Intel P67 Chipset
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
Corsair H70

seems to be a whole bunch of settings in the BIOS of the P67A-UD3-B3 I don't recognise (M.I.T and X.M.P for example) but I guess most of them aren't needed.

Anybody care to give me the skinny of what I need to change in order to overclock, guessing the VID needs to be upped and obviously the CPU clock ratio and probably need to give the RAM a bit more juice.

If anybody can nudge me in the right direction of what I shoud be changing on the P67A-UD3-B3 it would be appreatiated.

XMP is your memory profile. And quite handy to select that first up. Once you have enabled it then you go back and select manual.

Once in manual leave all voltages on auto.
Select your multiplier value. 45x on all auto should be quite doable with a reasonable cooler.
F10 and enter
Boot to OS and you are done.
4.5GHz done deal.
