As per the title, can anyone tell me the safe limits when putting two fans onto the cpu fan socket. I've got two Coolink Swif2 fans I intend to use with a Thermalright Venomous x. They seem a little above average for current which would make nearly 8 watts.

Should I use the Akasa splitter cable to be safe or is 8 watts within the limits?

The manual for your motherboard (page 2-33) states the fan connectors support fans of 350mA to 2000mA (24W max.) or a total of 1A-7A (84W max.).

Each fan channel can handle up to 24W so you should be fine.

Thanks, after much searching I finally found my manual and the page in question. It seems there's a ton of leeway on each connector so yes it's looking good.
