p8 lite firmware

My p8 lite 2017 has never had any updates it's on android 7.0 with 5.0.1 emui with December 2017 patch level.

I've gone in settings update but it doesn't come up with a message about updates.

It seems not all variants got the Oreo update via standard channels: https://uk.community.huawei.com/software-40/huawei-p8-lite-2017-oreo-update-314/index5.html

The unbranded version at least seems to have it, network branded ones are stuck on the Dec 2017 patch. There does seem to be a workaround on the last couple of pages on that thread but there also seems to be issue with the Oreo firmware itself.
