P8H61-M LE memory problem

Hi just bought this mobo asus P8H61-M LE and its only working with one memory module
I am using corsair twinX 1333 memory

Do you mean that you're only seeing half the RAM you're expecting to see?

Have you tried reseatting the RAM.

Have you tried each stick of RAM individually to see if one is faulty?

What quantity of RAM do you have and what operating system are you using?

32 bit or 64 bit?

I've just bought this motherboard but I have the USB 3 version. I hope I don't get this problem. When did it start and did it arrive with this problem?

it appears that if i put any stick of memory in socket b1 it will not boot but it will but if you put the same memory stick in socket a1 it boots just fine

Sounds like a dodgy mem slot. Give the CPU a reseat, if that doesn't fix it then its likely the board is iffy.

I've just built a PC for the wife based around this board and it's been flawless, so it just sounds like you got unlucky.
