Hey guys,

just installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and got most things up and running. However, I just noticed that the OS is only picking up 4GB of Ram despite there being 8Gb and a 64bit OS.

One of the ASUS tools on the disk detects the other 2 sticks fine no problems at all. I've not overclocked anything at all so every thing is running as standard.

I bought 2 sets of Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit.

no worries guys.

figured this one out. checked the BIOS and it was only picking up 4GB of ram and set it to 1333MHz. Changed the AI Autoclock from "Auto" to X.M.P, rebooted and voila, picks up all my memory at the correct speeds.

issue resolved.
