Hi, been lurking behind forum walls for a while reading all sorts of posts (specially ones regarding the P8Z68-V Pro haha).

Anyway, would love some help with the P8Z68-V Pro board and a good cpu cooler, as i have found that some coolers (or what people have stated) will block a ram slot or two which i'm in need of all the four =p.

For ram i have gone with G.Skill Ripjaws-X (2X2GB) 1600, but i'm also in the process of getting an additional 2X4GB sticks as well.
Some additional info: Will be installing a i7 2600K and overclocking in the NZXT Phantom case.

So far i'm thinking about one of these:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 - 85W
Fan on high, 14.5°C

Silver Arrow - 85W
Fan on high, 9.7°C

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus - 85W
Fan on high, 10.9°C

Xigmatek SD128264 Aegir - 125W
Fan on high, 11.0°C

Corsair H60 Liquid High Performance CPU Cooler - ?
Fan on ?, i5 OC'd to 4.5Ghz, 66°C

Would love to know if anyone who has the same motherboard has one of these cpu coolers (or better) with still the availability of all 4 ram slots =].
Thanks.

Arctic Freezer Pro 13 here, same board, have high heatsink memory (vengeance blue 2x4GB) and the first slot is clear by about 5mm.

Temps are good too, OC'd 2600k sits at about 28c idle, and 45-50c under load (gaming not stress test temps).

I THINK I have some pics of my setup on my phone, if they'd be any use to you. One of the reasons I went for the P8Z68 was the clearance between the CPU socket and the first ram slot.

Of course any of the water cooling kits will also fit fine...

It looks like it covers it from the angle of the photo and the fan cable is wrapped around the front of the fan, but there is clearance.

Thanks so much, you're a life saver! =]
Had my eyes on the Artic Freezer for a while but thought it'd cover the slots.
The picture says it all haha, and those temps are looking great, nice rig as well =].

Yeah though I really need to do something about the birds nest of cables in the bottom, and the top 2 exhaust fans are soon to be replaced by 2 antec truequiet 140mm :D

I did allot of theoretical measurements before I picked the cooler, taking board dimensions, cpu placement from ram slot, cooler dimensions etc...and it paid off, I was very close to buying an H60, but now I'm kinda glad I didn't and saved some cash in the process :)
