PAC code -

Hi guys,

So I want to upgrade my phone, but say I ask for my PAC code - to see retention etc what happens if they actually don't negotiate you into staying? If they do provide you with the PAC does that mean your contract finishes or until you actually use it with another network?

I just want to bluff my way into a better contract, so I don't actually want to leave!

The pack code will have a expiry date, I think usually 30 days after which you will need to get another one but you (usually) will remain on the same tariff.

Oh okay that's good.

Hopefully I can negotiate a new contract then. Do I just say I want my pac code unless you can offer me a decent contract to stay with you baring in mind I've been with you for 5 years...

Thats the route I usually take, They ask why I am leaving and I mention I can this mobile from this supplier for this price! So I have a idea if the offer they are giving me is reasonable.
