Pacific Assault problems...

First of all, Merry Christmas to all

I've just installed the game from an Orignal DVD (got it for Christmas!!) and as soon as I get onto the first level, in the first 10 seconds of the game, it exits back to windows!!

I've not overclocked anything but the game has been updated to 1.2 (1.0 to 1.2 patch was downloaded) and a no CD file applied (I hate damaging or using orignal disc's)

I'm just gonna try running it from the disc and using version 1.0, but I just wondered if anyone else has had problems with this??

I've and AMD X2 4600+ and a HIS X1900 XT at the moment with 2Gb's of ram... Anything else required to help, please let me know

trust if even you do get the game working, it's not going to be worth it. Awful game packed with bugs

Have to disagree, worked fine for me and I like it.

Never crashed for me that I can remember, still got my save files

As for the O.Ps question, might be due to the crack, or drivers or something :/

i remeber in the pearl harbour level, when you meleed the soldiers their gun would dissappear...

Seems to work fine without the no CD crack but didnt like it without the update... strange...

Still just ordered my E6600 and my Abit Max so I cant wait to get that

just got it also, was hoping for another allied assault but it just does'nt feel right, does'nt feel like it requires any skill to play, also had bodies and guns floating in mid air.

also got far cry, cod 2, brothers in arms and BF2 so which would anyone suggest i try next?

Far Cry is awsome, play that first.

I found it so immensely hard I had to use cheats, must be because im out of practice using FPSs

I just need to find a working no CD file for Pacific Assault and some time to play on it and I'm sure it will be as good as the rest of the Medal Of Honor Games I have....

Got to give them a chance

Let hope the E6600 and the Abit Max brings it a bit more to life

I love the Medal of Honor games anyways, so if it isnt great I wont mind as it was a Christmas pressie anyways

I can say however that NFS Carbon wont be bought. After playing the game, I think its EVEN WORSE than Most Wanted. Graphics arent all that special and the gameplay just feels pants..

Bring back the Underground series EA!! PLEASE!!

Quality game. Single player sucked but got rather hooked on multiplayer. Dunno what your problem is though
