What a bugger.
I got a Packard Bell E3242 and its not a bad LapTop, but the Battery life means taht it really needs to run from the PSU whenever its being used.
Unfortunately, for some reason, it has stopped the ability to run from the PSU?
I was able to start it up from the battery and the battery is now completely shot, but it just wont run from the PSU.
The PSU is fine, I have noticed however, that there is a tiny spark at the port, when I try to plug in a PSU, so, I have a silly feeling that it has shorted out somewhere?
I opened the back of the LapTop and have a god rummage round but there is nothing obvious that could be a fault anywhere?
Does anyone have any clues as to what I can do to try to get it running again?
