Hey guys, Am getting problems with my internet. Weather it be chrome not loading a page, Youtube buffering issues, Images not loading, Games telling me am getting packet loss etc.

Where should I start with packet loss? My network speed is prefect and my ping is bang on but packet loss is a big issue for me.......

Things like world of tanks I get like massive lag spikes, Which am guessing isn't ping but packet loss.

A few other games are the same yea.

It seems fine now, No issues.

Would buying a new router fix issues like this in a future? Plusnets router is like the cheapest thing I've seen in my life.

I made a new thread I guess it kinda refers to this one and I shall update this one anyway.

I can't test packetloss with this program as it will or wont work, It's random and will happen at random times. Considering I tested it at that time I didn't get that many issues but BF was hell on earth with packetloss.

The cable isn't a problem, Why I know this is am not the only cable connected to the router, There's another 2 computers all connected via cable into this router suffering the same issue as myself, Major packet loss across them all.

I called Plusnet again and they've informed me there still seeing major packetloss issues on the line but have deemed it as "Not urgent" and will refer this problem to BT. BT, Have informed me it may take upto 6-8 weeks to find out the issue and am not a happy bunny. I'd rather go through another router making sure it's not the stupid, cheap plusnet router or something daft but on my other thread I show that changing routers has had some effect although it's not prefect too.

I should also add that NAT is open.

uPNP as always been on.

My firewall is BitDefender with windows firewalls offline and routers firewall offline.

I sadly couldn't change isp even if i wanted too. Where i stay i don't get much choice and the only ones doing fibre here is BT, Plusnet and Talktalk.

Id love to go with sky but they dont do fibre here at the moment for reasons unkown. Am not going BT or talktalk so i guess am stuck with packetlossed filed games ugh. They used to be so good, never had issues with plusnet after a year. Meh! I kinda hope its something fixable in the near future but i wont hold my breath.

Okay with the new router am getting zero packet loss on BF hardline. Its looking good so far, just need to fix some sites not loading which might by my pc rather than the net
