What are you trying to do? If you want to listen to *all* traffic on the network then you'll need to enable promiscuous mode on the network interface. Is that even possible on a Mac?
Winebottler is what you're after. A quick google will show you how to get it to work.
GNS3 is better in my opinion, or Unetlab if you want to run a server.
