Packing a lot into a slightly bigger case (Dual-GPU O11 Mini)

Hey! First build log / project thing here, but this one has a somewhat unusual step in it so I thought why not.

As you can see, nice case, but it doesn't fit two GPUs (and in fact it won't fit my new 3070 at all, as it's too long to fit in the available space). So my short term solution for a while has been to mount it onto a 3D printed gpu stand that the riser cable is screwed onto.

So I now have an O11 mini (with a SF750, which after some testing and the use of a power-meter wall plug, I'm -pretty sure- will be sufficient).

So tonight I transferred all of my bits across, and unfortunately I didn't take progress pics as most of it wasn't that interesting. Luckily for the most part I could just unscrew the motherboard and the radiator and move the whole thing across in one go, so most of the work was sorting the SSDs and doing all the wiring. The wiring is by far my tidiest cable run job I've done though, and I'll probably take some pics of it tomorrow when I reopen it all to add the fans that haven't turned up yet (should be here tomorrow hopefully).

Hmm, only one GPU? Ahh but you can see the second PCI power cable sneaking in there. Working on a new design for another 3D printed mounting point right now. Which will be part of my 'part 2' update for this project!

All in all though, the O11 Mini is a great case to work in. Lots of room for cabling and for all the parts, while still being a very compact case. Really have nothing bad to say about it.

Edit 1: oh and Yeh, I know. "Tubes up?! Are you mad?! It'll explode!!"
Unfortunately tubes down simply won't fit, at least not without risking kinking the tube with a really squished bend, which I suspect is much worse for it than having the tubes up. Pump isn't at the highest point, so I'm not massively concerned. If the aio gets noisy in 5 years I'll just replace it. May even do custom water by that point.

Update!

First, cable management. Isn't perfect, but it's pretty good. I'm happy with it anyway.

And now for the new internals and... what's that? A vertical PCI slot? Yes, yes it is.

It's 3D printed (took a few revisions) and screwed onto the bottom of the case using the fan-screws mounting points, as well as the bottom two radiator screws just for some added rigidity.

It's pretty sturdy (probably massively overengineered, it even has an angled back so that the air coming through the radiator gets funnelled and split). My 2070Super can now live there, free to render scenes. Temps are actually pretty OK (it helps that the bottom two 140mm fans are quiet P140s and even the air coming in through the radiator helps more than I expected).
