Well im off to the land down under on friday..

And my dad has asked me to unplug all my pc and package it up ( includes everything, Base unit, monitor, printer, scanner and speakers ). He has some big boxes to put it in.. As he is decorating my room whem im away.

But how should i pack it? I wanna be really carefull with it, and dont want anything to be damaged. Should i wrap it in bubble wrap 1st ?

Im just asking if anyone has any pointers on what to do :)

Remove as much hardware as you can and put them in it's original boxes, such as GFX card, Souncard, CPU cooler & even the PSU. Remove all leads etc.
The rest pack in well fitted boxes lined with bubble wrap.
Your monitor manufacturer will send you a new box most of the time if you don't have the original.
After this all you can do is Pray.

Thx for the swift reply.. :D

*Edit*

It will just be in my ma an dads room i think when im away, it wont be up to any subject bashing.... ( I hope ) :p

Find a big box that your pc can fit into.

Stuff as many soft stuffs into the box as possible. Styrofoam + bubble wrapping is good.
