I think games like resident evil are defo pad thoPretty much just driving games I use the pad for. There are some odd titles that do work better with pad but for the most part it's KBM all the way
Well i always used pad for resi back in the day as they were console games things like fifa and driving as well i prefer cod games fps game for kbmWhy? When you have to aim with guns then a good portion of PC players are going to prefer a mouse to do so. I've not played it but a quick look at a gameplay video I can tell I would want to be aiming with a mouse rather than a controller.
Never played that always hear good things but again that's like a console game ajnt itSomething like gears of war, I've flip flopped between mouse and pad. Generally end up with mouse though.
its really easy for me
third person: pad
frst person: KB+M
somthing just feels wrong using keyboard/mouse when i can see my character.
same with first person gamepad just feels wrong
Games like diablo are like that i prefer gaming that with matesSomething fun to play with a mate. Don't think I'd bother with it single player as much.
Football manager the game that only requires the space barPad for pretty much everything other than football manager
Each to there own manMouse and keyboard for everything for me.

I hate gamepads. Always have. I bought one to try Dark Souls with it, but ended up giving it to my kids. I thought the reason Havel was kicking my butt might have been because I was disadvantaging myself by not using a controller, so I tried it out, but quickly realised... nope, that's even worse! Turns out I just needed to git gud, which appears to be input-device agnostic
Not only do I find controllers quite difficult to use in terms of accuracy and fine control, but everytime I have tried to get used to using a pad I end up with tendinitis in my left hand after only a couple of hours.
Last game I tried was Persona 4. Got the pad back from my son, played for two hours and my hand hurt for the next two days. I have a bit of hypermobility in my hand joints, so I don't know if I'm just not cut out for using a controller anyway.
It does mean I miss out on the few games that are just really not optimised for M&KB, but these are few and far between. I've beaten multiple NG+ (+++) runs of games taht are supposedly not mouse-friendly like Dark Souls I, II & III, The Surge, Nioh and they've all been fine.
I agreePrefer kb and mouse. But you have to use what the game is made for though really.
