page file for windows

My general rule of thumb is;

1GB of RAM = 1024 min , 1024 max
2GB of RAM = 512 min, 512 max

and yes, I know its static :p

(This is what I use for Windows x64 though.. I find it to be super stable and perfect for gaming)

Terrible advice. Having a page file less than the amount of RAM you've got should set alarm bells ringing.

I used to set mine to 1.5 time the amount of memory in my PC but now I let Windows manage it. I lost 0.000001 FPS as a result :rolleyes:
