Page File on RAM disk? worth doing?

Has anyone done this? I've got a laptop with 4Gb RAM and 32bit OS so was thinking of shifting the page file onto a ram disk created on the 'unseen' ram, probably about 1Gb in size, still leaving 3Gb that the OS only see's anyway. I'm scouring the web for free software that would enable the ram disk to load at system boot atm

I've tried it to see if it would make any difference when using ZBrush (32bit application) with a heavy mesh and it made zero difference for me.

Pointless.

I am a great fan of a Ram disk, but they only work well with a lot of memory.
On my pc,I have 32gb of memory split 12gb for system & 20gb for a ram disk for FireFox cache, Photoshop cache,& a few other things.

And that GB of memory isn't available for use anyway. It's missing because the address space in being used for other things.
