Pagefile.sys removal question?

Hi guys,

I have just installed a second drive in my machine and have moved my swapfile on to the new drive.

My problem is that when I go to defrag the C drive Defraggler says there is still a swapfile on the drive?

I have searched for pagefile.sys on the C drive but cannot find it am I being thick or is there some other way that I can free up that space.

You sure you removed it? I often click "set" when moving the pagefile to the other drive, but forget to click on "set" after i turn off the pagefile on C.

If you want to see the file you need to untick the "Hide Protected Operating System Files" box in folder options.

Hi thanks for the help I had pressed the set button both times. Thanks for the info on this ---->"Hide Protected Operating System Files" that allowed me to delete the pagefile.sys on the C drive. Gives me a couple more gigs of room on me drive.
