Hi,

I have a 128ssd (Samsung) recently i noticed my rig is running a little slow on average.

When i came to Defraggler (not that i would defrag an SSD) I noticed about 40% of the 'blocks' on my drive contains Pagefile.sys at 6gb a piece :eek:

Why is it using so much space for this? In general, I browse and play some games nothing that requires a mass amount of swap space.

any ideas?

Thanks

It can happen, easy fix
1. Turn off your pagefile in system properties (removes the pagefiles.sys)
2. Reboot
3. Reset it back to system managed
4. Reboot

It shouldn't happen again

Also I would do thus in admin command prompt mode
Sfc /scannow

It will verify their no corrupt windows files that could cause this
