as title, we've had this on a few pc's in work, and not sure how to fix it?

they've got sp4, symantec antivirus 8 (not able to change this, but am running a nod32 scan on it right now)

any ideas anyone?

i've tried removing the pagefile and restarting pc, then putting it back on, but after a few mins, it goes right back up to full pagefile..

can't see anything foul looking in hijackthis, and cpu usage is normal

Task Manager->Processes tab->View->Select Columns->Tick "Virtual Memory size"->OK. Now look down the Process list for processes that are using a large chunk of VM.

winmgmt.exe is using 700,000kb + pagefile!, now searching for a virus that affects that file..

tried to terminate it, access denied, i've tried all programs on it tbh, next step is format, but i cba as its a p3, 256mb :)

-there is a valid file for the windows management services with 2000
