What used to be a UK
.... and I had a situation showing my in basket owed £67.99 with nothing in it error ?

So it's happening with the main website as well as the forums?

That's quite concerning tbh, they shouldn't be running on the same systems.

No, not really. I just know from working in the web development business that you don't keep an eCommerce website and its forum on the same server.

Unfortunately that was the genius change that has just occurred (when the forums were moved from the subdomain to the primary domain).

Utterly daft, whomever architected this plan needs to get a stern talking to tbh.

If there are successful bot attempts and DDoSing going on then I am a bit disappointed in OCUK tbh.
Though even nVidia didn’t protect themselves from bots, not even a captcha lol.

I thought the problem was just on the forums and wondered whether the setup meant that should the commerce site get bogged down it could leach bandwidth from the (freely provided) forum service.

That seems like it would be a sensible approach.

I think it started at 13.02 Thursday and I thought it was over stressed by everyone posting they had bought a new PoCo x3 :D:D

Probably needs to be a seperate internet connection as well, otherwise that is still a bottleneck.

I wonder if they store their backups in the same room :D
