Paid for apps on multiple devices?

I've had an ageing HTC Desire for a few years and use a few paid for apps. Swiftkey, Fotmob Pro being a couple of examples.

If I was to buy a Nexus 7 and sync it to the same Google account as my Desire would I have to buy Swiftkey and Fotmob Pro a second time or is it a case of buy them once and use them on all your Android devices?

Pretty sure its buy once, and use on multiple devices.

Indeed it is buy once per google account, use on any devices you like on said account.
