Am just wondering if paid parking is for motorcycles & cars or is it just cars ?

I live in Guernsey and we no have paid parking over here yet. But it may come in soon

Depends. Sometimes they let bikes get away with it, sometimes they charge a token amount and sometimes it's the same cost as a car

Last time we used a pay parking didn't realized until we was halfway into our sausage rolls the car park camera is still waiting for us to leave :D

I think the best cost saving for parking I ever managed on my bike was the local hospital, their anpr cameras were front facing so saved a nice chunk even though I think officially I should have gone and found someone to pay.

I've never paid for bike parking, and i park absolutely everywhere.

(Apart from that one time I paid £lol for parking in a disabled bay)

It dependes, in London it is different in every borough, some let you park anywhere for free, some let you park for free on motorcycle bays only, some let you park on resident bays and some charge you everywhere, but usually it is cheaper than cars.
In Westminster for example you pay £1 to park in a motorcycle bay for a day.

There's only that large car park in Machynlleth where I succumb to peer pressure and pay whilst everywhere else I do everything I can to avoid it. As more car parks no longer use physical tickets it feels like they're adding in bikes.

But I could be making that up as I spend most of my time avoiding towns and the like.
