I got a PCN from barnet council last month, £130 or £65 within 14 days. I appealed it, it didn't get cancelled and I paid it online today. The rejection letter said I was still allowed to pay £65 but when I got to the online form it said £40 to pay so that's what I paid. No idea why it said £40. Since paying, I've typed my PCN number and reg plate on the form again to see what it says and it says £0 to pay and 'PCN complete'.

Just wondering if they can still come back and say I owe another £25? I assume not?

Hopefully that's the end of it but I'd screenshot the page where it says there's nothing to pay and it's complete too.

Yep, I've got a few screenshots of the barnet council pages, including my payment details on the £40 payment page, the payment successful page, a screenshot of a page that says 'Outstanding: £0.00', ' PCN is complete' and a screenshot where when I clicked on the 'Pay and Enter Card Details' box, a little box pops up saying 'No PCN(s) to pay' and 'The PCN(s) listed are not payable'. I've also got an email payment receipt.

What was the penalty for? Some contraventions are £80, so with 50% discount would be £40.

It's usually where your parking has expired.
