Paint it black?

I'm tempted to paint the inside of my Thermaltake Armour Jr. matt black. D'you reckon it's worth it.

It does mean a complete strip and rebuild.

At the moment it's primer colour.

Edit: Oh, and what paint to use? It needs to be very tough (so sliding in a CD drive won't remove it), and insufferably as thin as possible. A consistant matt finish is essential, I shall be using a rag and some pre-paint, and applying in thin layers.

I am doing this to my project.

Plan is to use car spray paint but to be honest I think its going to be hard not to scratch it when inserting dvd drives, just have to be careful.

Also make sure you go over it with a clear matt laquer at least 3 times, that should give you some protection

Powder coating is probably the only thing that would give you the kind of scratch resistance you are looking for.

Hmmm, sod the scratch resistance then, damage out of sight from inserting CD drives is fine with me.
