Hi There.

I'm back, this time wanting your thoughts and opinions on "paint.NET". I've been trying to find a "Great" free Photo Editing program for some time. Anywho, is "paint.NET" considered one of the best? I've heard great things about GIMP too. :)

Thanks

what do you mean photo editing?

Paint .net is great for simple tasks, cutting and resizing, changing formats.

Gimp is your free alternative to photoshop.

Hiya.

Simple things in my opinion. Filters (Black and White, Sepia etc), placing fonts on images that doesnt leave a big white background (I'm looking at you Paint). :)

Although I think GIMP pretty much has everything paint.NET has plus more.

Yeh does black and white, serpia etc. Palcing fonts. So if thats all you want I would go for paint.

gimp is very good but Much more complicated, but can also do a lot lot more.

Hiya.

I think the most I would use either for is to remove backgrounds from images. Easier to use the better. Going to give Paint a whirl
