Hey,

Has anyone had any luck with these sprayers for painting a fence? My dad says hes tried them all and they're rubbish and to just use a large brush but surely one of them must work?

I've got wooden posts whereas he has concrete so maybe that's where he struggles?

Sprayers are a nightmare. You have to spray on a no wind day otherwise the atomised spray goes everwhere, including your car, windows, all over, including neighbours property.

Use a brush, Takes longer but does a better job and you get satisfaction.

It's a nightmare because you have to wait for a non windy day, do you live in Argentina?

I got plenty of satisfaction knowing it was done in a couple of hours

Brush it. Will take a while, but it's a good day out.... or pay someone to brush it. Sprayers? noooo... unless you plan on explaining the the neighbours why they have some brown gunk everywhere.

Yup they are a nightmare. Moved my car a good 25 feet away from fence and it still had visible brown spots on black, the mist gets carried very easily. Did not notice until next day, it would not wash, clay or tar remover off. I'm lucky I have good neighbours as got some on their bikes as well :( Plus the Cuprinol one was a pain if you left any in the container, it got all gunked up in the head so really is single use.

In short, buy a brush.

i used a sprayer a few years ago, was a nightmare the very edges of the spray comming out were thicker than the rest. Ended up just getting a big brush.

a few weeks later I was round the other side of the house and noticed the spray had gone all over the windows and white window sills.
