Bonjour

So ive been trolling for a couple of days now getting case idea's. Ive never really cared about cases as i keep mine hidden away out of sight. I've spent some dosh on parts and you've probably read some of my previou posts re: stuff ive got so i wont go into details. I was reccomended in my last post to get a PC7+

I'm into the idea of respraying the inside of the case White. I'd keep the black exterior as normal. I'll stick some green cold cathode in ther also :) i also really like this

which would show off the painted bays nicely. So the point is:

How does the PC7+ come apart? Do all the panels come off leaving me with a basic frame that i can spray? Also, would it be easy to make a perspex full side window? would it screw about with the airflow at all if it didnt sit prefectly flush?

Would you reccomend a different case for the job? i need a lot of space inside but i dont have a lot of money to spend (£80 ish)

Any idea's welcome!

the top panel of the pc7 doesnt remove, I would go with the akasa eclipse :)

It does if you have a 4mm drill bit, drill out the rivets and replace with a 6mm threaded bolt,it cuts it`s own thread into the chassis.I`ve done it countless times on builds for clients. If you`re not sure what i mean,my mail`s in my trust :)

The eclipse is a little more than i had hoped to spend, so i might go with Paolo and drill out the Lian Li. Have emailed!

Yesterday i tried to put up shelves and had to call my dad  so let's see how this works out!

One of the US online retailers that ships to the UK has full perspex panels for the PC-7 ready made for about £12+shipping (say £25 delivered) and you can even have them with fan mounts pre-cut.

I would recommend powder coating over spraying as it makes a much tidier job all together.More expensive, certainly, but much, much better.

And if you want a fancy paint job, then Vehicles Signs in Thetford can do a vinyl wrap to your design for between £20 and £100 depending on the complexity and whether you want bezels, stealth drives, floppy covers and such done too.
