Painting-esque prints on canvas.

My friend was telling me the other day that when she was in the US of A she could just go into a fed-ex place with some photos (in digital form i guess) and they had a service where they'd blow it up to say... A2/A1/A0 sort of size, and print it for you on canvas, after presumably running it through a photoshop "oilpainting" filter or something. And it was pretty cheap.

She wants more doing and although I reckon I could do an ok job on the photoshopping front... is there anywhere in this country that anyone knows of that you can take/send images to be printed on canvas that you could get nicely framed/or just leave on the wooden frame that doesn't cost a million pounds?

edit: I now know of a couple of sites that offer the service, just wondering if anyone's used them.

Use RCS for various stuff at work, just remembered they also do the large canvas prints, not sure how the price compares though.

Photobox are one, there are quite a few out there on the web. Have a look in your local print shops too, one or two should do it.
