Painting Fans...

I dont suppose anyone has ever attempted to paint their fans in their case?

Reason im asking is that i am interested in doing the making the top exhaust fan match my sharkoon silent eagles (so white fan blades) which i have else where in my case.

Im probably not going to go through with it but still interested in the idea if it wont come out too bad

I dont think its a good idea, it may work if no paint gets into the motor.

Good idea and the best option, but a 200mm silent eagle doesnt seem to exist.

But if you can find anything let me know

A couple of white cathodes would look lovely in there... Lighting up the fan from below. Just keep the tubes out of sight of the grill!

Funny thing is i was trying to do that yesterday night but with a blue cold cathode. Couldnt get the damn thing to fit (it was a 30cm one) so i guess i need those little 4 inch long ones.

wouldn it throw it off balance and make noise, or more wear on bearing/motor?
