Painting my alloys black?

My wheels need a refurb, and i would like to do it myself, and quite fancy something different

Black wheels only works with certain colour cars, and black isn't one.

Oh, and I forgot to photoshop some dags in there.

Does OcUK think a Xenon or angel eye conversion is too cliche'? Should freshen up the front. Not sure what options there are for the grill, naturally keep it as OEM as possible.

Are the sideskirts colour coded?

Edit: Alloys, they look a darker metallic colour. Would they look good if they were more 'bling' and shiny. (Not chrome! but fresher).

I personally wouldnt change anything, it looks like a nicy tidy E34 as it stands, dont make it look like you have gone to too much effort as that is when it starts turning into a ***** wagon rather than just a nice but cheap car.

Then save up and buy an E39 540i or something to replace it, fuel economy and general running costs should be about the same.

Anthracite > Black

Front end looks dated but i wouldn't know what the options were available to change it.
