Painting my GPU

Yes, that's what the title is.

I've a 290 Tri-X but its yellow... and my H440 is red. So it needs to be sorted out right away. I was just planning on painting the yellow parts with just acrylic paint .. will that be okay?

Not sure what could possibly be a problem, but you never know. Would it void my warranty in any way?

I'd say have a look at Plastidip so you can at least peel it of later. Acrylic paint would almost certainly void your warranty depending on how easy it is to get off again.

again i think it will void your warranty if your sure that you are not going to have any prblms with it the fair enough but at least wait for you warranty to end before modding it

That being said there is nothing stopping you covering the yellow with decent black tape and painting over that if your extremely careful. Peel it off if you have any issues and your warranty should be intact still.

Now that sounds cheaper than plastidip! Will see if I can get the bravery to do it soon!
