painting.. plastic primers??

Just reading through the painting guide.. it's a little unclear on a few things

am about to change the colour of a beige warrior. I have a few cans of normal car paint in the right colour, the metal panel of the case is no problem.

I'm not sure what to do about the front fascia though. There's just no possible way on earth i'm going to get a vinyl dye to match this paint, and i want to use the paint i have.

If i use plastic primer, can i then spray the fascia in normal paint?

Also can i use conventional car bodyfiller to modify said fascia, and will said primer stick to filler?

any help appreciated

Yep plastic primer will do the job and car filler will be ok to spray over with normal car paint.

It will be fine to use normal paint on the plastic primer, you can also use the primer on the filler.

muchas gracias. Now i can go on my build "the most hardware in a desktop case ever" project. Got a really, really cool (please pardon the pun lol) idea of a place to mount a radiator

- Doesnt seem like anyone else has done this one, so i'm keeping it to myself other than googling for other people doing it.. hehe
