Paintshop Pro or Affinity Photo?

Paintshop is not a specific photo editor as such, it's an image manipulation tool (aka Photoshop) and as such work flow is often slower with menu's within menu's within menu's.

Affinity seems far more workflow focused and the company seem ambitious so if it was me I'd be looking at that as I don't need most of the features that a 'shop' application offers.

Some others that are work flow oriented are Corel Aftershot Pro and Cyberlink Photo Director both of which have free trials so you can them a go for free.
